Homemade Pizza Hut Pan Pizza Dough

Recipe for a homemade Pizza Hut Pan Pizza dough. For those who love the original Pizza Hut dough, we have recreated the dough for baking delicious pan pizza at home. The dough can be baked in the pan, but also in the oven.

Pizza Hut Pan Pizza Dough

 4 cups all purpose flour (480g)
 1 ⅛ cups lukewarm water (270ml)
 1 package dry yeast
 2 tbsp olive oil
 1 tbsp sugar
 1 tsp salt
 Vegetable oil for baking in the pan

Put 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp salt and 1 package dry yeast in a large mixing bowl. Add 1 1/8 cups lukewarm water and stir with a fork. Let it sit for a few minutes.


Add 4 cups all purpose flour and 2 tbsp olive oil and stir well until all the water is absorbed and the dough forms.


Knead for 5 to 10 minutes with a kitchen mixer or by hand until the dough is smooth and even. Let the dough rise for at least 1 to 2 hours.


Divide the dough into 3 pieces weighing 260 g each.


Form each piece to a round ball of dough. Shape each dough ball into a circle the size of the baking pan.


Brush the baking pan with vegetables oil. The oil should be evenly distributed in the pan.

Put the pizza dough in the pan and spread with Pizza Hut sauce. Top with mozzarella and other toppings to taste.

Put the pan pizza in the oven preheated to 475 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is crispy.
